383  BOATING SAFETY                                                                                                                                    

U.S. Power Squadron course introduces boat handling, basic navigation, seamanship, “rules of the road”, required safety equipment, docking, dock lines and knots, weather, regional boating, state and federal regulations and more.  Certificate issued upon successful completion of course meets Florida state education requirement for persons under 21.  Includes textbook and plotting instruments distributed first night of class.
